The main colonnade of Marianské Lazne

The main colonnade of Mariánské Lázně, also known as Maxim Gorky’s colonnade, is a neo-baroque building from 1888-1889, which became a dominant feature of the spa’s promenade. The name of the colonnade comes from one of its guests, the Russian writer, playwright, poet and revolutionary Maxim Gorky. Since 2010, the colonnade has become a national cultural monument.
